  • Should your child not like the class after attending two sessions, your payment will be refunded less a $25.00 processing fee, and amount of classes participated in.
  • We created this policy as we have found that children often need a few sessions to get comfortable with a new sport and surroundings etc.

What is your coach to child ratio?

  • For children under age four, the standard coach to child ratio is 4:1
  • For children between the ages of four and seven, the standard coach to child ratio is 4:1 but can be as high as 5:1
  • For children over the age of 7, the standard coach to child ratio is 5:1
  • Only occasionally does the ratio increase to 6:1 and this is only when appropriate based on age and skill level.

What is your philosophy on parent participation?

  • It is our number one goal to create a safe, fun, dynamic and child centered learning environment. To that end we ask that parents and caregivers, sibling or relative to remain at least 50 yards away from the “playing zone”.
  • Learning golf is a process and we strive to deliver it with our expertise on child development, age appropriate skill building activities and FUN.
  • We believe that making mistakes, doing things ‘wrong’ and being able to work it out themselves is a critical part of the learning process. Accordingly, our second request is for no coaching cues from caregivers, parents, siblings etc., unless instructed by us. Finally, we ask that you don’t force your children to play or practice if they are not so inclined.  In their own time, and it won’t be long, they will be engaged and owning the information presented in our classes.
